Soar Leader T-Shirt Design Competition 2024 Winner
Spring 2024 – Digital Design for Screen-Printing
Designing the t-shirt for Missouri State’s Student Orientation and Registration (SOAR) program meant balancing creativity with clear constraints. Using only two spot colors, I focused on making the shirt bright, recognizable, and budget-friendly while emphasizing friendliness, visibility, and leadership. The front features an illustration of a bear flying an airplane through clouds spelling “SOAR,” symbolizing new beginnings with a playful, approachable tone. On the back, clouds form the word “LEADER” above the Missouri State wordmark to clearly identify SOAR leaders. The final design uses bold color and simple imagery to support the program’s goals and reflect the spirit of SOAR
