Sophisticated Version – For a more mature audience, I took a symbolic, conceptual approach. A butterfly—representing transformation—emerges from a halftone illustration of a medieval knight’s helmet. The spread is anchored by a bold golden background, referencing both the richness and weight of wisdom. The contrast between the delicate butterfly and the rigid armor is meant to reflect the story’s deeper message of vulnerability.
